Overview
We are seeking a Scanning Coordinator to support our Fresh Thyme Farmers Market team by maintaining accurate price files, shelf tags, and store signage. The role requires engaging with customers in a friendly, energetic manner while ensuring compliance with all Store Support Department procedures.
Responsibilities- Maintains all shelf tags for product items, replacing and updating as necessary.
- Activates price changes daily in the computer system.
- Executes timely promotions, ensuring sale items are accurately tagged and coordinated with department managers.
- Informs support staff and the store director of scanning inaccuracies and errors.
- Works with customers to fulfill needs, requests, and special orders.
- Responds to customer suggestions and complaints.
- Prepares and submits all required paperwork and reports.
- Assists with store cleanliness by mopping, sweeping, and other tasks as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred 1‑2 years of grocery retail experience in a Store Support department.
- Previous experience in the natural foods industry is a plus.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Adapt to a high‑volume retail environment while working in a cross‑functional team.
- Take initiative when problems arise.
- Flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
- Advanced attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Organize and multitask efficiently.
- Knowledge of Health Department guidelines and regulations applicable to a grocery retail environment.

- Pay range: $16.05 - $25.15 per hour. Actual rate will meet or exceed the legal wage requirement for the location.
