What You’ll DoThis is a Full‑Time Hourly Supervisory Position.
As a Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee the daily operations of the store, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role, you'll represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.
- Responsible for ensuring products are merchandised according to GNC standards while keeping an eye on visibility and buying ease.
- Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales and repeat business (e.g., MYGNC Rewards).
- Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.
- Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and manage performance—provide ongoing feedback, recruit, hire, and manage store associates.
- Open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits per GNC procedures.
- Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting—below waist and above shoulders.
- Repeated hand‑to‑finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
- Frequently lift up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to forty pounds; push/pull up to twenty pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees F, especially in stock rooms.
- Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
Store Managers are expected to work five (5) days/week (40 hours) and adhere to the following guidelines:
- Mall and strip‑center managers must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night, and one other night.
- Strip‑center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.
- Mall managers are expected to work peak business days, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
- Downtown store managers must work during the lunch hour (11 am – 2 pm, Monday–Friday) and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. They are not required to work Saturdays.
- All managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays when the store is open.
