Job Summary

We are looking for a flexible, customer‑service‑oriented Sales Assistant (Store Associate) to join our extra

Ordinary team at the Chicago Wicker Park location. This 18‑hour per week part‑time position (3 days) involves delivering memorable experiences to customers across our beauty brands.

• Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Determine customers’ needs and suggest relevant products through active listening and product knowledge.
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
• Adhere to the DECIEM experience and deliver unparalleled customer service, educating customers about the world of beauty and skin care.
• Manage customer feedback and queries.
• Assist in maintaining counter standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Support merchandise concepts and maintain counter tidiness.
• Process product refunds and address customer issues positively.
• Build meaningful relationships with department managers and clients, maintaining high‑standard communication.

• Experience in retail and luxury industry highly desirable; within fragrance, beauty, fashion, or luxury goods sectors.
• Comfortable engaging customers, applying products, and providing consultations.
• Ability to multi‑task while providing professional service.
• Desire to spread brand awareness.
• Effective time management and communication skills.

Location:

Chicago Wicker Park.

Hours:

18 hours per week, part‑time, 3 days per week.
