Seasonal Sales Associate – Harry Potter Chicago Store
Warner Bros. Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail is hiring seasonal sales associates for the Harry Potter Chicago store. The role focuses on maximizing customer and fan engagement in a best‑in‑class retail environment.
Employment Details- Position type: 2‑month seasonal placement (mid‑July to 7
Sept) - Average workload: 20 hours per week
- Availability: weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and varying shifts
- Eligibility: must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and seamless guest experience.
- Assist customers with merchandise purchases: locate items, suggest complementary products, retrieve inventory as needed.
- Register and handle all cash transactions accurately, following safety and compliance protocols.
- Communicate customer feedback to appropriate departments.
- Support store operations: maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the store neat and well stocked.
- Track and achieve daily, monthly, or quarterly sales goals as directed.
- Adopt and promote the store’s culture, values, and brand representation to all associates.
- Carry out any additional duties as instructed by management.
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a retail store.
- Minimum 6 months experience with cash handling and customer service.
- Knowledge of the Harry Potter series and background.
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication in verbal, non‑verbal, and visual formats.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail with basic numerical skills.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with good initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Open availability for a flexible work schedule, including overnight, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts.
Pay Rate: $19 per hour. Offering additional rewards such as annual bonuses, short‑term and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards. Warner Bros.
