Role Description

The Chicago Flagship Store Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Chicago, IL, responsible for leading all aspects of daily store operations. This role oversees the sales floor, ensures a welcoming and engaging customer experience, and maintains high standards of visual merchandising that reflect Marc Nolan’s brand identity. The Store Manager leads, trains, and schedules store team members, sets performance expectations, and provides regular coaching and feedback.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include monitoring sales goals, managing inventory, supporting loss prevention initiatives, handling customer escalations, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and compliant with company policies. The Store Manager also collaborates with leadership on local marketing efforts, in‑store events, and community engagement to grow brand awareness and drive traffic to the flagship store.

Qualifications
  • REQUIRED:

    Experience in Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, and daily operations.
  • Strong customer‑focused mindset with skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Effective interpersonal and Communication skills for engaging customers and guiding team members.
  • Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and ability to maintain a secure, well‑managed store environment.
  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and analyze performance metrics.
  • Comfort working on‑site, including weekends, evenings, and peak retail periods as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive team culture aligned with Marc Nolan’s brand values.
