As a Grocery Clerk, you will provide outstanding customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, and assist with merchandising and store operations.
Position SummaryThe Grocery clerk is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to the product, customer service, and merchandising.
Responsibilities- Greeting and building rapport with vendors.
- Displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
- Responding to customer questions effectively.
- Stocking products and maintaining product displays according to merchandising standards.
- Performing basic department cleaning upkeep.
- Following safety and sanitation procedures.
- Using a baler if trained and 18+.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Highly organized with a keen sense of detail.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the store.
- Work environment: indoor retail setting with moderate to loud noise and temperature variation.
- Minimal sitting required.

Pay Scale $16.60–$21.62 per hour. Pay within range is based on location, skills, work experience and education.
Manager roles have quarterly bonus opportunities based on company metrics.
