Store Merchandiser

Description

The Retail Merchandiser role provides merchandising coverage to achieve superior in-store results for the assigned retail territory. Point-of-sale interaction is required and the ability to impact sales positively. Day shift (7 am to 4 pm), no weekends.

Personal vehicle is required
. Monthly mileage reimbursement will be provided.

• Build & maintain professional relationships with store management & associates.
• Set up & maintain in-store planograms.
• Responsible for new product implementation on store shelves.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

• Must have own personal vehicle
• Must have a valid driver license for Illinois
• One year of previous experience in retail sales or merchandising
• Bilingual Spanish; preferred
• Comfortably interacting with the public
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance & demeanor
• Able to lift 25 pounds or more
• Familiar with Excel & Word
• Good vision and ability to operate a calculator, telephone, and copier
• Willing and able to work in refrigerated and freezer sections of the retail store
• Stand and/or walk for long periods
