Merchandise Coordinator, Gifts and Souvenirs

We are seeking a Merchandise Coordinator
, focused with an emphasis on our Gifts and Souvenir operations. This role will be on-site at our Corporate Office in Overland Park, KS.

Collaborate with the corporate retail department and stores to support any/all functions of buying and merchandising.

• Maintain inventory database with correct descriptions, vendor codes, tax codes, cost/prices, inactive items, to ensure accuracy
• Communicate with locations on database issues and general support
• Utilize reporting to support buying team and retail leadership
• Accurate and timely data entry, vendor communication, follow through delivery
• Understand company’s ISO management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas, with a focus on upholding the highest level of quality
• Support in season inventory replenishment
• Maintain job related confidentiality
• Actively foster a positive work environment with a focus on teamwork
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate Microsoft office skills, with an emphasis on excel
• Efficiency with ICS system (POS and reporting)
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs occasionally and handle physical exertion involving bending, twisting, and squatting

Education:

College or High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Experience:

Two years retail experience preferred
