This role is a Warehouse Associate at Sam's Club focusing on prepared food merchandise. Responsibilities include preparing food, maintaining product knowledge, operating equipment, ensuring safety and sanitation, supporting inventory, and providing excellent member service.

  Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

  :
  Prepares food according to item specifications; understands and plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; and demonstrates an understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie
  :
  Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner
  :
  Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member's needs; assists members with purchasing decisions; payment types; locating merchandise; and resolving member issues and concerns.

  :
  Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences, and inspires others to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented; understands the roadblocks and assists in training them.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
