Inventory Operations Associate – Warner Bros. Discovery – Harry Potter Chicago Store

Position Overview This role supports inventory operations at the Harry Potter Chicago store, ensuring customer and fan engagement in a high‑quality retail environment. The associate focuses on inventory integrity, product customization, merchandising, and outstanding guest service.

• Support store inventory operations, maintaining inventory integrity, product customization, and merchandising.
• Provide excellent service to guests, enhancing their shopping experience.
• Follow daily guidance from the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) and Lead when present.
• Work effectively and productively with other associates to ensure high standards and operational efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions and apply knowledge of brand and product information to daily tasks.
• Create a positive and respectful work environment; adhere to the store dress code and be punctual for all scheduled shifts.
• Follow brand standards and procedures in the Inventory Operations areas.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures as directed by the Lead or ASM.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by observing safety guidelines, training, and equipment maintenance.
• Support inventory management tasks, including conducting cycle counts, making inventory adjustments, and handling stock placements and transfers.
• Assist in managing store inventory and replenishment as needed.
• Assist with product customization using personalization machines.
• Assist the visual team in maintaining and setting up planograms.
• Ensure personalization orders are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
• Contribute to achieving daily sales goals by engaging with customers and supporting sales initiatives.
• Prioritize customer engagement throughout the store, focusing on Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Price Transaction (APT).
• Support the ASM and Lead in addressing and resolving guest issues to ensure satisfaction and adherence to service standards.

• Good understanding of business and financial concepts and demonstrated ability to lead the team to drive results.
• Established time‑management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have open availability for a flexible work schedule that meets the business needs, including overnights, evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
