The Job
Warner Bros. Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail division is home to an expanding portfolio of Warner Bros. Discovery‑owned visitor attractions and experiential retail stores. This position supports Inventory operations at the Harry Potter Chicago store, focusing on non‑customer‑facing areas such as inventory integrity, product customization, and merchandising. You will also provide excellent service and address guest needs to enhance the shopping experience.
TheDaily
- Follow guidance from the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) and Lead when present.
- Work effectively with associates to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
- Participate in training and apply brand and product knowledge to daily tasks.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
- Adhere to store dress code and brand standards for inventory operations.
- Be punctual for all scheduled shifts.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by following safety guidelines and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Support inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and stock placements/transfers.
- Assist with inventory replenishment as needed.
- Custodian of product personalization using machines; ensure orders are accurate and processed timely.
- Assist visual teams in maintaining and setting up planograms.
- Contribute to daily sales goals through customer engagement and sales initiatives.
- Focus on improving Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Price Transaction (APT) through customer service.
- Support ASM and Lead in resolving guest issues to ensure satisfaction and adherence to service standards.
- Prioritize customer engagement throughout the store.
- Good understanding of business and financial concepts; ability to lead a team to drive results.
- Strong time‑management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Open availability for a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts.
Compensation for this role is $19 an hour.
