AboutThe Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you play a key role in driving growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities through a mix of inbound and outbound outreach. You thrive under pressure, think creatively, and bring a natural ease to conversations—turning cold calls into meaningful connections. You're highly self‑motivated, quick to understand a prospect's unique needs, and skilled at tailoring your approach to make every interaction relevant and impactful.
This is a hybrid role based out of our office in Chicago 3 days a week.
Responsibilities- Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence
- Effectively partner and work across the Info Track teams, including marketing and customer success
- Work closely with the product and marketing teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities
- Schedule online demos for the Account Executive (AE) team
- Act as the subject matter expert on the Info Track product
- 1+ years of corporate experience, which may include internships or customer service positions (previous experience in software sales is a bonus but not required)
- Prior experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus
- Prior familiarity with the legal services industry is a plus
- Eager to continue or begin a career in software sales
- Excellent communication ability. You need to be able to write well, be clear and persuasive on the phone, and be comfortable delivering presentations over video conference tools such as Zoom.
- Computer savvy—sell software, so you need to be someone who can quickly learn how to use new technology and new websites and explain how they work to others. You must know how to use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is $41,000 - $52,000 base pay + $40,000 commission target. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.
