Overview

Business Development Manager role at E Tech Group. We are expanding our dynamic team to fuel growth across markets, spearheading new business acquisitions, forging strategic client relationships, and crafting expansion strategies to amplify our market presence.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and cultivate opportunities: identify and pursue new business leads, build lasting relationships with prospective clients, and nurture and expand the existing customer portfolio.
  • Master solution selling: listen to client challenges and position E Tech Group's engineering solutions as the trusted advisor.
  • Position E Tech Group as a Main Automation Partner: qualify new applications, access new plant locations, and develop high-level strategic relationships at corporate levels to expand partnerships.
  • Craft and close deals: collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling, value-driven technical proposals and pursue project orders.
  • Pipeline management: maintain forecasts of bookings and opportunities, ensuring an optimal services and materials mix using CRM tools.
  • Strategic partnerships: develop and manage key alliances with vendors and subcontractors to meet market demands.
  • Reporting and insights: provide regular updates to senior leadership on BD initiatives, progress, and market trends.
  • Be an ambassador who embodies core values and supports the success of E Tech Group, clients, and associates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, a technical field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in engineering solutions, industrial automation, or controls industries, with an established professional network.
  • Proven track record of surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and technical solutions used by customers.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales tools, including Salesforce, Zoom Info, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
  • Collaborative team mindset and strong teamwork.
Travel and Compensation
  • Travel: 40% to 60% to engage clients and opportunities across the region.
  • Compensation: competitive base salary, full expense reimbursement (including mileage at IRS rates), and an uncapped commission structure that starts at order booking. Reports to Vice President of Business Development.
