Corporate Recruiter ~~Actively seeking Outside Sales Representatives

Location: IL, WI, IA, MO - St. Louis, IN

Travel: Approx. 20% - 30% overnight

Compensation: Salary, Commission, Car Allowance/mileage, FULL BENEFITS, 401K, etc.

Position Summary

Representing a core business unit for Matheson, the SGS is responsible for increasing Matheson’s specialty gas, non-strategic semiconductor gas, and equipment sales and market share within a defined territory by managing the sales process related to specialty gases and equipment.

Essential Accountabilities
  • Increase sales and market share through direct and indirect sales activities.
  • Develop sales leads into profitable accounts, working closely with local sales teams within defined regions.
  • Serve as a conduit for information between clients and senior management, operations, and quality assurance departments.
  • Provide management with regular reporting and updates regarding key customers, prospects, and projects.
  • Develop and share “Best Practices” to enhance our ability to promote and sell specialty gases and equipment.
  • Monitor internal and external quality assurance programs and KPIs directly impacting our customers’ businesses.
  • Establish high standards for customer service across all facets of Matheson’s customer service and operations groups.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales volume growth, account profitability, and contract terms.
  • Prepare and submit complete and accurate expense reports in accordance with Matheson policies.
  • Attend scheduled zone and region sales meetings.
