Carrier Sales Specialist

Overview

Capital Logistics Group is a dynamic freight brokerage organization looking to hire a Carrier Sales Specialist to join our fast-growing organization. This role is responsible for creating long-term relationships and growing existing clientele. You will work with Account Managers and our Operations team, developing relationships through daily interaction including quoting, problem solving, TMS management and other general customer service functions. A successful candidate will utilize their knowledge and experience to implement and develop additional processes and procedures to better serve the company and position.

• Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members
• Have a working knowledge of market rates and trends
• Work with Account Managers in forecasting, business planning, and strategy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm and high energy
• Strong work ethic, motivation, sales drive, and ability to negotiate
• Confident decision-making capabilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills via phone and email
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Bachelor s degree preferred
