Position: Director, Sales (Private Aviation)

Job Summary

Lead Advertising Sales for the Nation’s most powerful private airport portfolio (100+!) as Director, Sales, Private Aviation. Drive growth with brands in the Luxury and B2B categories, by developing client and agency relationships that expand revenue and increase media investment in these unique assets. Requires deep knowledge of strategy and planning, strong relationships with key clients, and marketing expertise across products and services engaging the top 1% of all travelers.

The Director partners with national and regional sales teams to target key brands, strengthen coverage, and close relationship gaps.

Job Responsibilities
  • Exceed revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Become an expert in inventory and designated industry assignment.
  • Make cold calls and connect with "C" Level clients through phone, email, and networking strategies.
  • Generate sufficient outreach to obtain meetings with existing and new clients every week.
  • Conduct Customer Needs Assessments (CNAs) resulting in insights and opportunities that lead to proposal submission.
  • Prepare compelling and competitive proposals and presentations.
  • Present ideas and advertising solutions that meet client needs.
  • Determine project pricing based on established guidelines.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients and their agencies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in cooperation with Creative, Operations, Marketing and Finance staff.
  • Manage a pipeline to understand business in a data‑driven way and effectively self‑manage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Job Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
  • Work Experience:

    Minimum two (2) years of sales experience or other relevant work experience; five (5)+ years of sales experience preferred; proven track record of business‑to‑business and progressive sales experience preferred; media and/or OOH sales experience preferred.
  • Skills:

    Strong organizational/time‑management skills, detail oriented; skilled in building client relationships; consultative or "needs" based selling techniques; collaborative and professional style; self‑starter with a diligent work ethic, flexibility, multitasking, calm under pressure; excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills; basic math calculations; proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Physical Demands & Other Requirements
  • Attendance at weekly/monthly meetings is required.
  • Field work: sales calls and servicing existing accounts.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to see written documents and computer screens and adjust focus.
  • Travel:
    Must travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time; valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle.
  • Hybrid role: office in Torrance, CA 3 days per week.
Targeted Salary Range (Illinois)

$125,000 to $150,000 annually.
