In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part Time)
This is a local, in‑home role that requires daily travel to customer residences. It is not remote.
Schedule & Work HoursPart-time schedule: standard 5-day schedule from 4:05PM–9:00PM with flexible 4+ day options. Shift times range from 12:05PM to 9:00PM; you may start as late as 4:00PM but must be available until 9:00PM on scheduled days. Flexible option requires 25 hours per week across at least 4 days, with at least one weekend day. Schedule availability is essential.
Responsibilities- Serve:
Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or elsewhere. Provide exceptional customer service and aim to surpass sales targets. - Solve:
Resolve customers’ tech issues and provide understandable solutions regardless of technical knowledge. Ensure customers leave with a suitable resolution. - Sell:
Leverage Asurion product range to offer tailored solutions. Listen actively, identify needs, and position products uniquely.
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least one year of experience. Must provide proof of valid car insurance (except Manhattan).
- Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) and personal cellphone for job communication.
- Maximum expected travel distance up to 120 miles one-way.
- Good communication, negotiation, customer‑service skills, and adaptability.
- Efficient, goal‑oriented, persuasive, open‑minded, and passionate about learning.
- Comfortable working around household pets.
- Scheduled availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Base hourly rate of $26.90 with guaranteed payment for all hours worked, paid bi‑weekly. Earned pay can be accessed early. Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi‑weekly. Mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines, paid weekly. $35 phone stipend, paid monthly. Three‑week paid training that supports success.
