We are a hyper-growth tech startup on a mission to revolutionise student rental. We have gone from $0 to $10M ARR in just the past 18 months and recently raised a $10M Series A to fuel growth in the US+Canada college markets.
Founding Account Executive – Colleges/UniversitiesWe’re looking for an experienced AE to take ownership of our US expansion efforts.

- The product you are selling is vastly different from any competitors.
- Sell Sell Sell. Run every step of the sales process from discovery to close as you bring on new colleges and universities to Housr. You will mainly focus on closing deals and managing a long sales process – but you will prospect new opportunities as well.
- Expand the Housr Brand. Get the word out that Housr is here to reimagine the off campus student experience. Attend conferences, build relationships with university decision makers, and help position Housr as the go to solution for housing and off campus living departments.
- Refine Best Practices. Your efforts will help build the Housr sales playbook. You will work closely with the CRO to determine best practices to fuel growth throughout the US and Canada.
- Blast Through Sales Targets. Achieve and exceed quotas as you bring new universities on board.
- Collaboration For the Win. Work alongside our US and UK marketing, product, and customer success teams to help propel Housr’s growth across all departments.

What we're looking for- You have experience selling to colleges and universities in the US/Canada market = you understand the sales process in higher education.
- You have worked at a high-growth startup before. Nothing against big corporate life – but working at a rocketship that’s taking off just requires a bit more resourcefulness.
- You are an expert communicator and people enjoy talking to you.
- You are aggressively curious – you ask relevant questions and you never leave a conversation with important points unanswered.
- You’re uncomfortable making decisions without having all the information. Housr is a rocketship growth mode - we move fast and act decisively.
- You prefer the corporate life of a well-defined process and predictable daily pace. We are growing and learning everyday – processes can change quickly and you’ll be a big part of it.

- Intro Call (30 minutes) – A conversation with a member of our team to get to know you, walk through your background, and align on role expectations.
- University Sales Deep Dive / Case Conversation (1 hour) – A practical discussion with sales leadership focused on how you approach selling into colleges and universities, managing long sales cycles, and navigating multiple stakeholders.
- Sales Task + Presentation (1–1.5 hours) – You’ll walk us through how you’d approach winning a new university partner — from initial outreach to close and expansion.
- Final Conversation with Leadership (45 minutes) – A conversation to align on vision, ownership, and long‑term growth at Housr.
