Position OverviewThe Sales Enablement Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for providing operational, analytical, and coordination support to the Sales organization. This position serves as the backbone of a newly established Sales Enablement function and directly supports Broker Distribution and Business Development teams.
The role focuses on RFP and proposal coordination, Salesforce pipeline administration, sales communications, meeting and event support, and market intelligence gathering. This is an ideal opportunity for early-career professionals seeking exposure to sales strategy, broker relationships, and leadership visibility within a growing insurance organization
This role will report to the Director, Sales Enablement
RFP & Proposal Support- Triage, track, and coordinate RFPs, proposals, and routine broker requests
- Partner with underwriting, compliance, product, and marketing teams to assemble responses
- Maintain and update RFP response libraries for life, health, and accident products
- Support day-to-day Salesforce usage including data hygiene, opportunity updates, and reporting accuracy
- Build and maintain pipeline, activity, and win/loss reports and dashboards
- Assist with Salesforce user adoption, enhancements, and basic training
- Coordinate standardized sales communications such as newsletters, product updates, and rate notifications
- Maintain sales calendars aligned to renewals, enrollments, and product launches
- Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation for sales meetings and broker sessions
- Support logistics for conferences, industry events, sponsor ships, and broker education programs
- Collect and organize broker feedback to support market insights and service improvements
- Assist with competitive summaries and sales enablement materials
- Preferred areas:
Business, Marketing, Communications, Risk Management, or related fields - Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- 0–3 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, marketing coordination, or customer-facing roles
- Insurance or financial services experience preferred, but not required
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to learn new sales tools and AI-assisted workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities
- Exposure to group benefits, life, health, accident, or supplemental products
- Willingness to pursue insurance or enablement certifications
