Learn more A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As a Territory Manager, you’ll team up with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring our innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and providers in your community. You’ll leverage your industry sales experience to meet or exceed sales goals through strategic business planning and customer identification. Your mission: grow the territory, build strong relationships, and help people living with diabetes thrive.
This is a field-based role in the Chicago Central Territory.
Please note; that although the role is posted as remote/hybrid, the ideal candidate would be based in Chicago Central and will cover the city of Chicago.
Territory Managers with Tandem also:
Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value.
Leverage advanced sales methodologies—including the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management—along with strong communication and collaboration skills to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
Keep your territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
Ability to travel up to 80% within your territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.
WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:
Field Based Hybrid:
This position is field based hybrid. We are open to candidates located in Central area of Chicago or neighboring cities. Equipment for the role will be provided, and training will occur onsite and remotely.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The base pay for this position is $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision available your first day, as well as health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (with accrual starting on day
