Summary

As a SPIN Event Sales Manager, you not only sell the experience; you consistently seek to improve upon it. You turn inquiries into booked events and work your phone, email, and social network aggressively to close inquiries. You refine and define the SPiN experience by conducting site visits, entertaining potential clients, and coordinating with our Operations Team to ensure events are executed with world‑class precision.

You’ll be more than a salesperson—you’ll be an experience maker!

Essential Functions
  • Respond to all inquiries, transforming them into booked events.
  • Bring the experience to life by speaking with ease and authority on the features and benefits of SPiN’s venue and event packages.
  • Meet and exceed monthly Sales Team goals.
  • Take direction well and support the Director of Sales while collaborating with the General Manager.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in preparing for trade shows, sales missions, and promotional events.
  • Take a proactive approach to account management, identifying opportunities with clients.
  • Work with clients to plan, coordinate, and ensure booked events are world‑class experiences.
  • Cultivate client relationships after events to drive retention and repeat business.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Event Sales role.
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to own and resolve problems and attention to detail.
  • Hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Experience with booking software such as Seven Rooms and Tripleseat is a bonus.
