About the RoleAccount Executive – Field Sales Operations
- Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory.
- Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within large enterprise prospects and share the Workday value proposition.
- Build relationships with net new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting them with Workday core financials solutions.
- Negotiate deals with C‑Suite executives to close opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, timely customer and prospect data, pipeline, and service forecasts.
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position.
- 5+ years collaborating with internal teams (pre‑sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and run multiple deals simultaneously.
- 5+ years managing longer deal cycles, including prospecting portions of opportunities.
- Proven experience understanding the strategic competitive landscape, staying current with trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions.
- Ability to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders.
- Prior experience partnering with internal members on account strategies for short and long sales cycles and territory management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Annualized base salary ranges for the primary location (USA.IL.Chicago) are $134,200 - $201,300 USD. Additional U.S. locations have the same range. Total compensation may include a bonus plan, role‑specific commission, and annual stock grants.
