About the job

As an Account Executive at Slang AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and your manager and collaborate with Product and Customer Experience teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey. Occasional travel may be required for conferences or company offsite meetings. You will leverage sales technology to enhance productivity and connectivity with prospects and teammates.

Success Looks Like
  • Proactively prospect and close new business opportunities.
  • Conduct value‑based discovery and demos to quantify business impact.
  • Expand existing and new market segments strategically.
  • Manage your sales pipeline to ensure a predictable flow of closed deals.
  • Leverage AI to innovate and drive process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account expansion.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass monthly sales quotas and weekly top‑of‑funnel metrics.
What You Will Bring
  • 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Self‑starter, hunter, closer, curious, resourceful, and resilient; growth mindset with hustle.
  • Ability to speak to a prospect’s business problems, understand the industry, and act as a consultant.
  • Grit: ownership of outcomes, perseverance in adversity.
  • Adaptability to fast‑paced startup environment and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Coachability and openness to feedback; self‑motivated and innovative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, listening, assertive, persistent, and persuasive with high EQ.
  • Preferred:
    Experience in SaaS or hospitality (hotels or restaurants).
Compensation

50/50 mix: $85,000 base + $85,000 variable.

Benefits include FSA, HSA, 401(k).

Location

Compensation is location‑based and benchmarked against local market data. Total compensation includes cash and equity and may vary by location, role level, and experience.
