Position:
Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Specialty Sales – Long‑Acting HIV Injectable Treatment

This role is responsible for developing strategic business plans, selling and servicing healthcare providers (HCPs) in the designated territories, and supporting the launch of a new HIV treatment. The TAM will partner cross‑functionally, engage HCPs, analyze data, and execute customized plans to drive sales and service goals.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
  • Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt the new treatment approach.
  • Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges.
  • Leverage data analytics and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects.
  • Prepare and execute business plans tailored to each customer’s needs and help HCPs scale treatment models.
  • Coordinate and partner with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience.
  • Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and close internal communication loops to ensure a cohesive experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP needs.
  • Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, business problem solving, etc.
  • Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
  • Act consistently with ViiV culture, expectations, and values.
  • Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and view setbacks as learning opportunities.
  • Escalate issues and risks when needed; demonstrate courage by speaking up.
  • Understand and follow compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • 3+ years of specialty experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically as required (overnight travel possible).
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Success in complex market‑access coverage situations.
  • Experience managing cold‑chain treatment products with HCPs.
  • Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required).
  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally within an integrated account team model.
Benefits

The US annual base salary ranges from $145,500 to $242,500. The role offers an annual bonus, eligibility for long‑term incentive programs, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, caregiver and parental leave.
