Job Overview
Sales position supporting Accel Entertainment’s growth into the newly opening Route Gaming market in Chicago. 1 day in office, 4 days in field per week.
Position BasicsBase salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year. – Targeted total compensation (including commissions): $125,000–$175,000+.Company vehicle and fuel card and/or transportation stipend. Competitive benefits: health, vision, dental insurance; 401(k) with match; PTO and paid holidays.
Responsibilities- Use consultative selling techniques to educate customers on industry trends and demonstrate how Accel solutions can grow their business.
- Leverage industry and community relationships to open doors and deliver results.
- Design and implement sales strategies to achieve Accel’s revenue objectives.
- Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Accel’s solutions within their organization.
- Strategize independently or collaboratively to resolve deal‑level challenges.
- Regularly update Salesforce with customer information and use customer intelligence for account planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and assist customers in gathering information.
- Manage accounts as if they were your own business and be compensated for success in driving growth.
- Attend trade shows, trade association meetings, and municipal meetings to build industry partnerships, stay informed of local ordinances, and assist with licensing.
- Stay current on gaming industry trends, competition, technology, regulations, and new markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Prior outside sales experience (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as part of various teams and committees.
- Versatility and enthusiasm for adapting to constantly changing priorities.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board.
- Calculate financial figures and analyze data.
- Frequent travel by vehicle; frequent sitting, walking, talking, and hearing.
- Use of hand/finger dexterity, including typing on a keyboard.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and lifting/pushing up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment noise level is usually moderate.
