The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and build what's next for their business — all with technology built in the cloud. As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will help grow our data analytics business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers, delivering true business value, and shaping cloud and data analytics strategies.

• Build relationships with customers as subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor, managing complex business cycles and influencing long‑term strategic direction.
• Deliver against quota and achieve or exceed strategic business and growth goals while forecasting and reporting territory business.
• Work with Google accounts and cross‑functional teams (Customer Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Channels) to develop go‑to‑market strategies, drive pipeline, close agreements, and provide an excellent prospect and customer experience.
• Develop analytics solution roadmaps with customers, understanding unique and complex requirements at business and technical levels.
• Manage multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously, understanding each customer’s technology footprint, strategy, growth plans, business drivers, competitors, and transformation opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of experience in a sales role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
• 10 years of experience in the HCLS sector, selling into or partnering with the healthcare or life sciences industries.
• Experience selling data analytics or data management technologies to clients.
• Ability to travel 30‑80% as required, dependent on the region.
• Experience carrying and exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role.
• Experience supporting executive relationships, developing new territories/accounts, and ensuring customer success, adoption, and expansion.
• Experience working with internal/external teams, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory existing software estate, build cases for transformation with implementation plans, and close agreements.
• Experience prioritizing and planning sales activity and transformation strategies within complex sales cycles aligned to data and analytics.
• Knowledge of trends, products, and solutions in Cloud and data and analytics (Big Query, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub) and experience with a data analytics technology stack.

U.S.: $176,000 - $245,000 (USD) + 100% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits.
