Location:

Chicago, IL (RDA)

• Generate income by renting electric, diesel, gas, and propane power generation equipment and selling used equipment inventory.
• Achieve rental sales and growth initiatives; travel within the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with customers to develop specific equipment solutions and ensure all equipment deliveries meet the conditions of the rental agreement.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback and addressing issues promptly.
• Create and execute an annual territory sales plan, including account management, proactive outreach, presentation development, and agreement securing.
• Coordinate with branch offices to prepare sales contracts, documentation, and collections for orders and projects.
• Record daily and weekly activities, quotations, and sales funnel progress in the CRM system.
• Quote prices and credit terms, build alignment on agreements, and prepare appropriate paperwork for orders.
• Support regional sales teams with product and application guidance and provide training when needed.
• Operate in a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines and promoting a safety culture.
• Maintain a clean driving record, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to operate equipment for demonstration purposes.
• Travel up to 50% of the time and work hours as required by customer demand.

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems, act decisively, and persist in the face of obstacles.
• Adaptable and able to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in one-on-one or group situations, over the phone, and via email.
• Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
• Multi-task and work independently with little supervision.
• Intermediate computer experience with all Microsoft Office products.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s or technical degree, or equivalent experience and education.
• Preferred: 2–5 years of power generation experience and sales background.
