Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth across a defined Midwest territory by managing existing leads, generating new business through referrals, and delivering product demonstrations to industrial customers. This role focuses on selling handheld and small-form analytical instrumentation, including X-ray, LIBS, and elemental analysis spectrometers, into predominantly industrial markets.

This is a fully remote, field-based role with regular customer travel throughout the assigned territory.

• Contact and manage customers based on inbound leads provided by the organization
• Generate additional leads through customer relationships, referrals, and industry networking
• Conduct follow-ups with customers via phone, email, and Salesforce
• Schedule and perform web-based demonstrations and onsite equipment demos at customer facilities
• Travel locally and regionally within the Midwest territory to meet with customers
• Utilize Salesforce for forecasting, pipeline management, and customer follow-up
• Transport and demonstrate company-provided analytical equipment at customer sites
• Participate in local and regional trade shows (a few per month), coordinated with the marketing team

• Experience working with spectrometers or analytical instrumentation
• Must be comfortable traveling over 50% of the time.
• Background selling into or working within industrial environments strongly preferred
• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Experience utilizing Salesforce
