Compensation
Base Salary: $45,000 annually. In addition, Sales Managers participate in Carnivale's team‑based revenue sharing incentive program, with weekly payouts based on Group Dining revenue performance. Carnivale's Group Dining department has historically generated between $3 million and $4 million in annual revenue.

The Private Events Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, converting inquiries into booked events, and driving revenue growth across all event segments. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for prospective clients from the initial inquiry through event execution while building long‑term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outbound sales efforts
- Respond to inquiries and convert leads into booked events
- Conduct site tours and showcase Carnivale's unique event spaces and experiences
- Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and execute contracts
- Build relationships with local businesses, event planners, wedding professionals, and community organizations
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and community functions to promote the Carnivale brand
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Culinary, and Event Teams to ensure successful event execution
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and event details
- Support departmental sales goals and revenue growth initiatives
- Two or more years of experience in hospitality sales, event sales, catering sales, restaurant sales, business development, or related fields
- Strong networking, relationship‑building, and communication skills
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales opportunities
- Exceptional organizational and follow‑up skills
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and goal‑oriented
- Experience with event planning, catering, private dining, or hospitality operations preferred
- Familiarity with CRM or event management software preferred
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and networking events as needed
