A Taste of What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll drive profitable share growth across assigned customer accounts and lead expansion of the New Business portfolio. You will build key customer relationships, position Gallo as a trusted partner across beer, wine, and spirits, and unlock new growth opportunities across traditional retail and e‑commerce platforms. You’ll collaborate with distributors, internal partners, and cross‑functional teams to create impactful strategies, from product presentations to joint business planning with customers.

Your ability to translate market insights into actionable initiatives will influence category growth, portfolio expansion, and long‑term success. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how Gallo shows up in the marketplace.

This position offers an entrepreneurial mindset while driving execution excellence. You’ll evaluate performance, optimize results, and champion innovation that keeps Gallo ahead of industry trends.

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Gallo sales or affiliated distributor sales experience, reflecting increasing responsibility; or Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development; or high school diploma plus 7 years of Gallo sales or affiliated distribution experience; or high school diploma plus 8 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development, reflecting increasing responsibility.
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable vehicle (if applicable). MVR check required.
  • Obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
  • Travel by air and automobile up to 50% of business.
  • Travel to company offices, sites, or meetings for onboarding, training, and events up to 5% of the time.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
How You’ll Stand Out
  • 6+ years of Gallo winery or distributor sales, customer development, or external alcohol sales experience, including account management exposure.
  • Experience with Gallo account management, project analysis, strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and industry systems such as IRI, Spectra, Pro Space.
