A growing and highly respected organization within the advanced manufacturing sector is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join its commercial team. In this role, you will take ownership of a key market segment, working closely with customers to understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and drive sustainable revenue growth. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment and enjoys a high level of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets within the assigned territory.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Identify customer challenges and provide strategic, solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, including account targeting and growth forecasting.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights.
  • Collaborate internally to support pricing strategies and identify new product opportunities.
  • Manage and qualify inbound leads, converting opportunities into long-term business.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service aligned with a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain regular client engagement through travel and consistent communication.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education in business, science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, account management, and closing business.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Highly self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage priorities independently.
  • Overnight Travel as required.
