Strategic Account Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key enterprise clients within the healthcare payer space. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, responsible for driving long-term partnership value through retention, revenue expansion, and strategic account development. The ideal candidate combines strong consultative selling abilities with deep client management experience and commercial acumen.
StrategicAccount Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary executive-level contact for assigned strategic accounts, building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Lead contract renewals and identify opportunities for revenue expansion through upsell and cross-sell initiatives
- Facilitate executive business reviews and ongoing strategic planning discussions with client leadership
- Act as escalation point for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong service alignment
- Develop and execute account plans focused on growth, retention, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client objectives
- Proven experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or client success roles
- Strong background working with healthcare payer or complex healthcare organizations preferred
- Demonstrated success in driving renewals, revenue growth, and long-term account retention
- Ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders and executive decision-makers
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including understanding of margins and revenue performance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
