Position: Large Enterprise Customer Base Account Executive - Healthcare

Job Overview

Account Executive for Workday’s Enterprise Sales team. Drive incremental add‑on business to existing customers, focusing on upselling Workday Solutions and coordinating cross‑functional efforts to align sales strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, focusing on upselling via deal management.
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources for strategic alignment.
  • Drive strategic add‑on and renewal business of Workday solutions within large enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal teams (pre‑sales, digital, value & bid‑management, marketing, technical and sales support).
Qualifications
  • 4+ years selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position.
  • 4+ years negotiating deals with a variety of C‑suite executives to close opportunities.
  • 4+ years building relationships with existing customers for add‑on or incremental business.
  • 4+ years developing long‑term account strategies with existing customers.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months with large deal sizes.
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and staying current with industry trends and customer needs.
  • Experience partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation

Annualized base salary range: $134,200 – $201,300 USD for Chicago, IL. The same range applies to additional U.S. locations. Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.
