Regional Dealer Sales Manager
Responsible for expanding Bestbath’s dealer channel by recruiting, developing, and supporting a high‑performing network of independent dealers across their assigned territory. Focused on dealer‑driven markets including single‑family construction, remodeling, in‑home accessibility, state‑funded programs, and related segments. Acts as a trusted partner to dealer owners and teams, delivering ongoing product training, field support, and practical guidance that helps dealers grow their businesses and increase demand for Bestbath solutions.
Responsibilities& Duties
- Manage and develop assigned territory to support and grow business with existing customers, while executing channel growth strategies in partnership with the territory team, sales manager, and marketing department that identify and recruit qualified new dealers.
- Oversee ongoing management and prospecting of a target customer list.
- Manage all prospecting, sales, and customer service activities and data using Hub Spot CRM and Net Suite ERP as required by the sales manager.
- Organize a value‑driven travel schedule that supports KPIs and expectations of the role and provide regular and consistent feedback on customer visits.
- Commit to meeting customer needs, organizational responsibilities, and critical deadlines regardless of whether traveling or working in the office, including non‑traditional hours as needed.
- Communicate with customers and team via phone, email, and video calls.
- Negotiate sales of shower, bath units and accessories within the Dealer Business structure.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors, DME/HME professionals, general contractors, plumbing/mechanical contractors, kitchen & bath showrooms, and independent distributors.
- Determine pricing, handle all quotations, submittal packets, verify, and check quotes and sales order packets for completeness and accuracy before a purchase order is generated.
- Perform basic administrative duties such as electronic filing, faxing and order/data entry.
- Identify and attend trade shows in the territory and support marketing’s event logistics.
- Use CRM and ERP dashboards and reports to track territory goals and KPIs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products and solutions, as well as available resources and support, to ensure customers receive expert level service and support.
- Work with accounting on sales orders, quotes, and credit applications.
- Respond to all internal and external customers promptly and stay accountable until a proper solution is fully completed.
- Keep the National Dealer Sales Manager fully and accurately informed concerning work problems and issues.
- Become proficient in training and support for the installation of BBS products.
- Use standard office equipment, including a computer, in the course of work.
- Must live within the North‑Central territory.
- Exceptional product knowledge.
- Territory knowledge for remodeling, construction networking, bathing building codes, and compliance, including an established network within one or more related industries.
- Outgoing rapport building style to engage customers and prospects with ease.
- Skilled prospector, lead qualifier and relationship builder, with solutions‑oriented focus.
- Demonstrated partnership with company departments to achieve successful sales, profitability, lead times and accuracy on factory orders.
- Thorough working knowledge of sales practices/procedures, department policies/procedures, general office practices and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge in business and technical writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Aging in Place concepts and ADA regulations.
- Presentation, organizational/time management skills.
- Proven customer service, public speaking and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with good listening skills.
- Mature and highly professional with strong follow‑through.
- Knowledge and basic skills in MS Office software – Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, CRM software and Net Suite ERP.
