: $68,000 – $70,000 Annually
Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Sales Manager – Leisure to grow transient leisure revenue and strengthen the hotel's presence within the luxury travel market.
This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with luxury travel advisors, preferred travel agencies, tour operators, destination management companies, and key leisure travel partners. The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality professional with strong sales instincts, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue through proactive business development.
As a representative of one of Chicago's premier luxury hospitality destinations, you will serve as a brand ambassador while helping create extraordinary experiences for guests from around the world.
Key Responsibilities Leisure Sales & Business Development- Grow transient leisure revenue through strategic account development and market penetration.
- Build relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, tour operators, and preferred agencies.
- Identify new business opportunities within domestic and international leisure markets.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, and client meetings to drive revenue growth.
- Manage key leisure accounts and develop growth strategies.
- Achieve assigned room revenue, ADR, and production goals.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to increase market share.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and promotional strategies.
- Represent Trump Chicago at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.
- Host site inspections, familiarization tours, and travel advisor visits.
- Promote the hotel's luxury accommodations, dining experiences, and exclusive offerings.
- Partner with Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, and Guest Experience teams.
- Support promotions, seasonal campaigns, and special initiatives.
- Help ensure exceptional experiences for VIP and repeat guests.
- 3+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Experience working with luxury travel advisors, preferred agencies, tour operators, and consortia partners.
- Strong knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud and Delphi.
- Familiarity with Agency
360 and Hoteligence preferred. - Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate business, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
