Compensation

Exempt position. Monthly salary of $3,900 during probation. After successful completion of probation, base rate increases to $4,333 per month. Includes uncapped commission and generous bonuses.

Role Summary

The Merchant Consultant serves as the first point of contact to clients, acting as brand ambassador by introducing business solutions. This is a sales position that requires goal‑driven, resilient, and people‑oriented individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads, cold‑call, and prospect potential clients.
  • Conduct in‑person meetings to determine customer needs; present customized payment, merchant financing, and marketing solutions.
  • Perform pricing analysis by assessing clients’ payment processing statements and initiate proposals.
  • Follow up with potential merchants reviewing product and service features, benefits, and terms.
  • Close sales in a timely and effective manner.
  • Navigate and develop new lead sources; maintain relationships with referrals and affiliates.
  • Create and develop marketing programs to increase sales.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in English AND Mandarin‑Chinese OR Vietnamese OR Spanish; must read and write.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2‑4 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in the Merchant Service industry is an asset.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, detail‑oriented, analytical abilities.
  • Strong desire to succeed in a competitive market and self‑motivated.
  • Able to work independently and driven by results.
