Chicago Baking Company is seeking a Route Sales Supervisor for our Chicagoland area.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow customer relationships. Provide leadership, direction and oversight to ensure growth and improved operational efficiency.
- Help develop and execute the Sales Plan for National, Regional and Local customers.
- Utilize Proprietary I.T. for Sales and Route management.
- Effectively lead local management team.
- Develop and foster teamwork, excitement and alignment with company objectives.
- Cultivate and manage strong customer relationships.
- Coach and develop Route Sales Managers and Store Merchandisers.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Effectively communicate market conditions to management.
- Effectively communicate performance standards to employees.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of progressively responsible management in CPG/DSD.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong customer development and relationship skills.
- Strong sales and operations skills.
- BS/BA in Business or related field (preferred).
