Position Summary
Under the supervision of a higher level sales professional, works to implement strategies that support customers within the assigned territory, supporting existing business and prospecting new opportunities. Educate, promote and sell company's products to physician offices, hospitals, surgery centers and/or wound care centers, and Federal Government accounts to include VA's and active duty military hospitals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Achieves performance goals as assigned by Regional Sales Director in conjunction with their supervisor.
- Define and identify key market opportunities, implement marketing strategies and effectively implement sales direction to penetrate existing accounts to increase utilization of our products and work to gain new customers.
- Successfully complete sales training and continually stay updated and informed on competitors and market dynamics by participating in corporate updates and ongoing training.
- Proficient in presenting to individuals and large groups of customers on all products and applicable company programs.
- Support territory business plan to ensure achievement of monthly revenue goals and overall sustainable long term growth, in agreement with their supervisor and Regional Sales Director make adjustments to plan ensuring potential sales issues are addressed in a timely manner assuring monthly and quarterly quota is met.
- Conducts all job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Promotes positive team relationship and maintains open lines of communication with Regional Sales Director, Supervisor, Marketing, Reimbursement, Customer Service, Administrative personnel and Sr. Management to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
- Attends industry conferences as needed.
- Works within assigned expense budget.
- Ensures all activities are in alignment and conform to Bio Tissue corporate policies.
Essential Duty Definition:

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory and company sales goals, reflecting both a broad knowledge of the product line and business acumen, as well as successful efforts to educate customers or prospects.
- Courteous, friendly, and helpful to both customers and team members
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences or related field, required
- 1 year outside sales required. Preferably in one or more of these areas:
- line products to represent
- pharmaceuticals
- medical device
- wound care
- biotechnology
- tissue segment
- Sedentary work that generally requires sitting and/or standing
Base Salary Range: $63,000–$75,000
The posted salary range reflects base compensation only and represents the company's good-faith estimate of the base pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual base salary will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, location, and business needs.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a variable commission plan. Commission earnings are based on individual and/or company performance under the terms of the applicable commission plan.
