Job Title:
Customer Sales Executive
Job Type: Full-time;

- Strategically develop new customers (lead generation, pricing, follow up) to increase company profitability.
- Outbound prospecting - email, phone, potential prospect visits.
- Pursue, build, and develop/maintain relationships with a focus on consistent revenue growth and account penetration.
- Create efficiencies for customers as a consultative logistics provider.
- Possess continuous/ongoing knowledge of market conditions, industry developments, and industry networking.
- Facilitate bids and RFPs.
- Facilitate spot quoting during different market conditions.
- Maintain a “book of business”.
- Load building, load maintenance and load coverage when needed.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative and team‑oriented culture.
- Comfortable operating in a high‑energy, growth‑focused environment where adaptability and urgency are important.
- Maintains composure and professionalism in a customer‑focused environment, including during time‑sensitive or challenging situations.
- Enthusiastic about both individual performance and contributing to overall team success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and colleagues.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate when appropriate.
- 8+ years of experience in a freight brokerage or third‑party logistics (3PL) environment, specifically within customer sales, client sales, or business development.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing 15–25 pounds.
