Position Summary / Objective
As a key member of the global eCommerce organization, the eCommerce Account Manager will play a critical role in accelerating Made Good’s footprint on key omnichannel and emerging on‑demand platforms. The individual is responsible for driving online sales and share growth through cultivating strategic customer partnerships, onsite merchandising activities, and test & learn execution. The role is fully integrated into annual growth planning and the daily operating rhythm of strategic customer sales teams (i.e., Walmart, Target, Costco, Sam’s, etc.).
PrimaryResponsibilities Business Development (Site Merch)
- Develop and execute onsite merchandising growth plans to support total customer account/business growth objectives.
- Analyze key business metrics/data (clickstream, consumption, market insights) to inform customer recommendations to improve traffic, conversion and/or average transaction size.
- Lead insights delivery to merchant partners in support of site taxonomy, decision tree filters, organic algorithm trends, and variation strategy.
- Trade management, sales forecasting, new item sell‑in, and conventional account leadership in direct Pure Play account(s).
- Collaborate multi‑functionally to support organic site merch and content for key launches.
- Support Digital Shelf lead with updated and accurate catalogue for content publishing and tracking.
- Identify opportunities to optimize or expand ship‑to‑home assortment, where applicable.
- Drive testing of new digital transaction initiatives for Made Good within omni retailers (subscribe & save, auto‑replenishment, virtual bundling, targeted offers, etc.).
- Internal champion for digital maturity and new capability intel for key retail partners.
- Partner with commerce marketing to establish negotiated added value framework for incremental paid media and promotional investment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce.
- CPG experience preferred.
- Hybrid schedule with ability to commute 3 days a week to a Chicago‑based office.
- Deep experience with digital shelf tools such as Salsify, Profitero, Syndigo, Stackline, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central.
- Bias for collaboration within multi‑functional work groups (sales, marketing, IT).
- Passionate self‑starter with demonstrated comfort dealing with ambiguity while embracing new challenges to build new capabilities.
