Role OverviewThis position is responsible for the processing and follow up of US and Canada customer orders. The position requires extensive follow‑through with customers, sales, production and logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain direct responsibility for designated accounts, from order receipt through shipment to customer to invoicing
- Accurate and timely entry of customer orders
- Handle daily service and order activities.
- Work closely with plant schedulers and transportation group to securing on‑time deliveries
- Play critical role in developing customer relationships and resolving customer issues
- Provide backup to team members
- Invoice orders and complete month‑end closing transactions
- Entry of credits, debits, and sample order requests
- Recording and reporting on ongoing issues
Education:
- Previous customer/sales service experience recommended
Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with SAP, JDE or similar ERP environment desirable.
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently with multiple interruptions
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Basic level of Microsoft 365 suite and internet skills
