Position: National Sales Director (w/m/d) OEM

Tasks
  • Lead, grow and inspire a sales and field application engineering team with a focus on empowerment, accountability, and success
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand the customer base among OEMs and ODMs and grow existing key accounts
  • Drive consistent sales performance, ensuring alignment with growth, revenue and profitability targets
  • Foster close cooperation with global stakeholders across sales, marketing, product management, and finance
  • Manage a revenue of >30M USD, ensuring profitable, sustainable growth
  • Open a new office in the Chicago area in 2026, creating a tangible center of culture and collaboration close to the industrial clients in the region
Profile
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in a technology‑driven B2B environment
  • Proven track record in sales to OEMs / ODMs with longer project cycles — ideally within industrial communication or embedded electronics
  • Demonstrated success in building or transforming sales organizations and fostering performance‑driven cultures
  • Strong strategic thinking and change leadership capabilities
  • Customer‑oriented mindset, hands‑on leadership style, and ability to inspire and unite people around a shared vision
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English; willingness to travel across the U.S. and occasionally to Europe
  • Strong roots in the Greater Chicago area or willingness to relocate
