Software Sales Consultant
Barton Professional Placement Group is recruiting for an exciting direct hire career opportunity for an experienced Software Sales Consultant for our client located in the NW Chicago area. This role is a great hybrid position with a strong bonus/commission structure and a base salary range of $80,000–$100,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Call on prospective companies from a robust company database
- Prospect decision makers to secure new business
- Utilize phone, email, marketing campaigns and trade shows to connect with prospective new clients
- Make outbound calls to qualified prospects from our database
- Document each sales activity in company CRM
- Demonstrate software products
- Gain in‑depth knowledge of software products and services
- Continue learning about ongoing software enhancements
- Build relationships with prospective and new clients resulting in genuine business partnerships
- Conduct discovery calls
- Prepare software proposals
- Close business
