Job Overview
DXC Technology is a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner delivering software, services, and solutions to global enterprises and public sector organizations while harnessing AI to drive outcomes. Preferred location: T&T Industry (Airlines) in Chicago, IL. Applicants who live within 40 km (25 miles) of a DXC office are expected to work onsite at least two days per week.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead business growth and opportunity development: demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of client industry dynamics, identify and seize new business opportunities within existing client relationships, and oversee solution development and proposal efforts.
- Client‑centric culture and relationship management: guarantee responsiveness to client needs, proactively identify areas for service and operational improvement, and promote a client‑centric culture within delivery teams.
- Planning and account leadership: lead the strategic planning process, align client objectives with organizational capabilities, facilitate high‑level discussions and negotiations with C‑suite executives, and serve as senior point of contact for strategic clients.
- Financial and resource management: supervise execution of business plans, monitor project execution, staffing, and workflow; manage account profit and loss; oversee expenses; and develop and manage budgets to ensure activities are funded and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15+ years of experience in business management, consulting, or account management within the travel & transport industry (Airlines).
- 10+ years in a supervisory or management capacity with experience managing and growing significant client relationships.
- Proven track record of achieving new business development, revenue, and profitability targets and managing profit‑and‑loss for large accounts.
- Experience with in a global organization of considerable size, scope, and complexity.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, commercial awareness, communication, presentation, analytical, problem‑solving, and executive presence skills.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, business challenges, and technology solutions.
- Excellence in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team leadership.
- Revenue growth and profitability within assigned accounts.
- Development of new business opportunities and pipeline growth.
- Client satisfaction and retention rates.
- Quality of delivery and project results.
- Team performance, development, and alignment with organizational goals.
Compensation range: $120,600 – $180,800. Full‑time hires are eligible to participate in DXC’s benefit program, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance coverage; employee wellness; life and disability insurance; a retirement savings plan; paid holidays; and paid time off.
