Client Manager Associate – Select Market

The Client Manager Associate is responsible for assisting Sales Representatives with renewal processes and identifying opportunities to add additional lines of coverage to existing business for the Select Market segment.

• Assist Sales Representatives with renewal requests and identify add‑issue opportunities through proactive mining.
• Generate plan options, quotes, and renewal rate relief for the Select Market segment.
• Negotiate renewal rates with underwriting and present options to producers, assistants, and planholders.
• Review Experience Reports with Sales Consultants and deliver appropriate reports based on authorization.
• Follow up with producers and assistants regarding renewal/add‑issue status and coordinate with Sales Consultants to close the sale.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on Guardian systems (Salesforce, CPS, Panorama) and related workflow procedures.
• Maintain strong customer‑service engagement and consultative relationship with producers, clients, and internal partners.
• Prepare and manage documentation, reports, and data for renewal and add‑issue activities.

• 3–5 years of industry experience preferably in a sales environment.
• BA or BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Knowledgeable in group insurance products, contracts, services, and underwriting principles.
• Strong consultative, negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills with a customer‑focused and sales‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and mathematical aptitude.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Goal‑oriented with the ability to meet add‑issue and persistence goals.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.

Remote position in the Chicago and Great Lakes Region. The role requires a hybrid (partial in‑office, partial home) arrangement for employees within commuting distance of the Chicago, IL office. Occasional travel within the territory is required.

USD $41,770.00 – $68,620.00 (base pay, combined with incentives).
