About the Position
PRP Wine International is seeking a full‑time Wine Consultant in Chicago to schedule and conduct in‑home wine tastings and events. The role requires a passion for wine and a flexible schedule, as many tastings occur evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities and Duties- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Use the computer system to enter orders and sample orders
- Research events in the area to secure opportunities
- Report weekly sales figures
- Call clients to confirm and book appointments
- Maintain a client database for event invitations
- Stay informed about industry news and trends
- 21 years old or older, with reliable transportation
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of B2B or B2C sales experience preferred
- Interest and knowledge in wine
- Willingness to participate in community functions and events
- Organized, coachable, and comfortable communicating with clients
- Ability to build long‑term relationships through personal interaction
- Ability to work flexible evenings and weekends
- Uncapped commission with bonuses
