Hotel/Hospitality Sales, Business Development, Director of Sales
We're looking for a confident, creative, and energetic Sales Manager to join our Chicago cluster sales team, supporting three dynamic downtown hotels. This is an on-property role
, where you'll build strong client relationships, drive new business, and collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and hotel teams to achieve revenue goals.
- A proven track record in hotel sales with experience in Group, Business Transient, and/or Catering sales
- A passion for prospecting, developing new business, and growing existing client relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple hotels and departments
- Hilton brand and Delphi experience preferred
- Chicago market knowledge is a plus, but great talent wins over zip code
- Generate new business and grow existing accounts across three downtown Chicago hotels
- Solicit, negotiate, and close group, business transient, and local corporate opportunities to achieve revenue goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting planners, and local businesses
- Conduct hotel tours, attend networking events, sales calls, and industry functions to expand market presence
- Partner with the Director of Sales, Revenue Management, and hotel operations teams to maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage your sales pipeline, prepare proposals and contracts, and maintain accurate account activity in Delphi
- Be visible and engaged at each property, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless client experience from inquiry through turnover
- A collaborative and experienced sales team that values creativity, teamwork, and results
- Support from an experienced Director of Sales along with Corporate Marketing and Revenue Management teams

* The anticipated compensation range for the position is $80k per year. The salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience in the job and the required industry, education, etc.
