Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Sales Development Representative to join our Sales & Business Development team. This junior‑level pre‑sales role is ideal for a self‑starter with a passion for aviation, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Outbound Prospecting: Proactively engage with prospects via phone, email, and social channels to gather intelligence and generate interest.
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through cold calling, online research, and the use of internal databases and tools.
- Market Research: Collect and analyze competitive intelligence, industry trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
- Data Analysis: Use tools like Salesforce, Linked In, and other platforms to track activity, record insights, and prioritize outreach.
- Insight Capture: Extract value from every conversation by asking the right questions and documenting findings that support sales pipeline growth.
- Territory Management: Own a specific geographic or market segment and be accountable for driving intelligence and pre‑sales activity in that region.
- Cross‑functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure lead quality, market alignment, and seamless handoffs. - Social Selling: Leverage social media and digital platforms to engage with prospects and promote thought leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in a pre‑sales, business development, inside sales, or market research role (internships considered).
- Business aviation experience or interest strongly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication and phone presence.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Excel, Linked In Sales Navigator, and other lead generation tools.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Curious and relentless in pursuit of actionable information and opportunity.
The annual base pay generally ranges from $70,000 to $80,000. Total rewards may also include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of compensation.
