Primary responsibility is sales, to initiate and guide Hospital Automation strategy in the US Acute Care marketplace. This position will work with US Acute Care Territory Managers, Regional Directors, and Clinical Specialists on strategic evaluations alongside the sales team to secure targeted accounts. This position is also responsible for developing and managing an in‑house technology pipeline focused on automation solutions, including Safety Net (SN) and Iris.

Additionally, this role will cultivate regional and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to advocate for Patient Safety Net, Iris, Clinical Alarm Management, and advanced patient monitoring solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with Territory Managers and Regional Directors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline for Safety Net, Iris, Connectivity, Analytics, and Clinical Alarm Management solutions.
  • Present the clinical, operational, and financial benefits of the Hospital Automation portfolio.
  • Improve the sales team's ability to communicate the value of Patient Safety Net and Iris solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Safety Net Alarm Management and Data Solutions while collaborating with the Acute Care team to expand opportunities and pipeline.
  • Present technical automation solutions during the pre‑sales process in partnership with Territory Managers.
  • Develop sales processes and customer proposals in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Partner with Clinical Specialists to support customer needs following implementation.
  • Support local, regional, and national trade shows as needed.
  • Identify and document care unit workflows and IT system profiles for assigned healthcare facilities.
  • Effectively communicate clinical evidence supporting the organization's automation and patient monitoring technologies.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers, Corporate Accounts, IDN teams, Clinical Specialists, Sales Administration, Customer Service, and Implementation teams, while providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to leadership and marketing.
  • Collaborate with Clinical teams to coordinate evaluations of automation technologies and establish Vocal, Credible Clinical Champions (VCCCs).
  • Maintain CRM records including:
  • Current status and next steps for targeted VCCCs
  • Sales opportunities with accurate forecasting
  • Travel approximately 60% as required.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of healthcare SALES experience, preferably in healthcare informatics, clinical engineering, healthcare IT, or medical technology.
  • Strong clinical knowledge demonstrated through previous sales or marketing experience, with the ability to discuss automation solutions and value across the continuum of care, from home health through perioperative settings.
  • Technical aptitude for healthcare automation products demonstrated through education, hands‑on healthcare experience, or related sales/marketing experience.
  • Formal sales training or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives.
  • Collaborative team player with a history of cross‑functional success.
  • Self‑motivated, ambitious, and disciplined.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel, with a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hospital IT systems, EMR connectivity, and the healthcare technology landscape.
  • Familiarity with IHE PCD interoperability frameworks.
  • Experience with medical device integration and clinical workflow use cases.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT sales cycles within hospitals, surgery centers, or long‑term care environments.
Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000–$100,000 plus benefits. Placement within the range will depend on skills, education, experience, and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for variable compensation of up to $105,000 upon achievement of 100% of annual objectives.
