Team Lead, Inside Sales – Food Science

• Manage and coach a team of 3–5 Technical Sales Representatives
• Help representatives manage assigned accounts and develop new opportunities
• Develop an understanding of inside sales and help customers solve their needs by leveraging Technical Service, Business Development, Customer Service, Quality, R&D, field Sales, and other functions
• Train and coach direct reports
• Interact directly with customers and guide the team in customer interactions
• Promote Ingredion’s portfolio of ingredients by providing technical recommendations to customers

• Bachelor’s Degree in food science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 10–15 years of business/work experience required
• Prior experience managing and coaching people, especially early-tenure individuals
• Experience working with customers and building relationships
• Understanding of  and SAP
• Understanding of Ingredion’s operations, including manufacturing, quality, and warehousing
• Attention to detail
• Project management skills
• Good communication skills
